How to reach us

Situated in the centre of the archipelago, Salina can be reached from Naples (overnight ship and morning arrival and a summer catamaran service in about 5 hours), from Milazzo via ferries and hydrofoils, and also from Messina, Reggio Calabria, Palermo and Vibo Valentia via hydrofoil.

The most convenient airport is Catania, alternatively Palermo or Reggio Calabria. From Catania airport you can reach Milazzo in 2 hours with an agreed transfer, and after a short journey of 1 hour and 30 minutes by hydrofoil you will arrive on the island of Salina, at which point you will enter a wonderful world.

Helicopter transfers from Catania and other airports are also available.

Hotel Punta Scario is located in Malfa, 7 km (15 minutes by car) from the ports of Santa Marina and Rinella, and a few minutes’ walk from the town centre.

By notifying us of your arrival time in Salina, we can book you a taxi or the island bus provides regular service from both ports to the village of Malfa, stopping in front of the hotel.
